How is your prep going?

The ones writing Mains must be counting each minute. The rest of us might be figuring out what we need to do differently in the next attempt. In either of the cases, one tool that can be our best friend is a schedule.

A couple of months ago I wrote an article about why we need a schedule to be productive. I will have to read through what I wrote and make a schedule for myself. Writing your thoughts either in a diary or a blog feels good in such situations. When you glance through them, at times you wonder if it was really you who wrote them.

Speaking about writing, have you written any essays in the past few days?

If your response is, "Oh don't ask about it" I won't be surprised. If the GS answers are like a 100m dash (aspirant writing non-stop without lifting his pen), then the essay is a marathon. Phew!

I had been giving myself such excuses and avoided writing an essay. I love writing. I really do. That is how you are reading these posts every Monday. Today I am in a flow :)

Finally, I got pushed into writing an essay by a friend who is giving the Mains exam this year. Lucky me to have such folks in my circle as accountability partners. So that was a short brief of how I happened to write an essay yesterday.
